Hansa Entertainment launched their robust slate on the auspicious Vijayadasami Day (Oct 20th 2026). The company which commenced its operations in April 2026, has now made a formidable footprint in the media and entertainment landscape. It aims to bring trusted creative vision and world-class storytelling to audiences across formats as a production house. As a first step of their strategic goals, Hansa Entertainment has ventured into high-impact long-form series and short-form series in partnership with major OTT platforms across Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam markets.
Hansa Entertainment looks forward to commencing production on its maiden Long-Running Series (LRS) in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu from October/November 2026 and has scaled itself in the last six months to run multiple productions, simultaneously.
“We believe the future of entertainment lies in combining a strong creative vision with a deep understanding of audiences and the evolving possibilities of technology” said Ms. Sruti Swamy, Director of Hansa Entertainment.“Our long-term vision is to build a sustainable content business rooted in original IPs, diverse genres and strong creative partnerships. By developing stories that cut across linguistic and cultural boundaries, we are confident of making a strong difference in this space,” she said.
“Within just a few months of incorporation, we have established a strong presence in large-scale, long-format production, building on the goodwill and industry relationships cultivated by Hansa Vision,” said Mr. Siddharth Swamy, another Director at Hansa Entertainment. He added, “We have rapidly expanded our team and strengthened our capabilities to meet the evolving demands of our platform partners. Our immediate priority is to execute multiple productions simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality, consistency and timely delivery.”
Hansa Entertainment is also aggressively expanding its feature film slate.
CEO Sujatha Narayanan said:“We have launched our IP (Intellectual Property) slate with four distinct stories as part of our first slate. One of them is a Malayalam film, and three are Tamil features & all of these IPs have a scope to go multi-regional as well. These film projects are designed to blend compelling rooted narratives with universal commercial appeal. We have reached out to our first choice of actors & stars and the response has been encouraging & we will proceed further with these productions.”
Pre-production for 2 out of the 4 films is to begin from December 2026.
