Hot Toys has unveiled a detailed collectible figure of Beast, the blue-furred X-Men character played by Kelsey Grammer, ahead of his return in Marvel Studios‘ Avengers: Doomsday. Announced in October 2026, the 1/6-scale model features a comic-inspired costume, interchangeable hands and a redesigned appearance, with a scheduled release in 2027.
According to product details the figure stands approximately 32.5 centimeters, or 12.8 inches, tall. Its design includes dark blue pants with yellow trim, a yellow belt bearing the X-Men insignia, detailed facial features, movable eyeballs and textured blue hair across the body
Hot Toys is offering standard and deluxe editions. The standard version includes interchangeable hands and a display stand, while the deluxe edition adds a battle-damaged Sentinel head diorama with exposed mechanical components, green flame effects and USB-powered LED lighting for the robot’s eyes.
Bleeding Cool reported prices of $330 for the standard edition and $390 for the deluxe model, with preorders available through Sideshow Collectibles at the time of publication. The Future of the Force reported that preorders had not yet opened when its article was published, indicating that availability information differed between the outlets.
The figure depicts a different look from Beast’s appearance in The Marvels, where Grammer’s character wore a lab coat and glasses during the film’s post-credits scene. That sequence connected the X-Men characters from Fox’s film universe with the Marvel Cinematic Universe and introduced an alternate reality where Monica Rambeau encountered a version of her mother, Maria Rambeau, known as Binary.
The redesigned appearance has prompted speculation about whether the Beast in Avengers: Doomsday belongs to the same universe as the character shown in The Marvels. The available product images establish the new costume’s appearance but do not confirm whether the film will explain the difference through its multiverse storyline.
TheDirect reported that The Marvels’ post-credits scene had led audiences to expect further connections involving Monica Rambeau. However, the publication noted that Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris and Iman Vellani had not been announced as part of the Avengers: Doomsday cast in its report.
Grammer has previously expressed enthusiasm about returning to the role and described Beast as a character whose values extend beyond his physical abilities. In comments the actor explained his personal connection to the mutant
“Yeah, it was the secret, quiet passion and mind to come back to Beast because I love the character. I love him for what I think he stands for. I mean, to me, to my mind, he’s the Martin Luther King of the mutant community.
He’s a man of stature, of integrity, who believes that what you do is who you are, and he’s done everything, and he stands.” Grammer said.
He also discussed Beast’s development as a character and his interest in portraying the mutant again. Grammer said the role remained one of the most meaningful opportunities in his career.
“He was slow to action, but once being immersed, he is given no quarter and expects none. He’s an amazing character, an amazing man,” Grammer said. “I love playing him.
I think people will be happy with what we’re doing when he comes back. But I’d love to see [what happens] and play him again. Honestly, to me, he is one of the great opportunities in my life.”
Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled to arrive in theaters on December 18, 2026. Marvel Studios has not confirmed whether the redesigned Beast will appear in Avengers: Secret Wars, which is scheduled for December 17, 2027.
