Cisco is expanding its work with the Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment (BSE) as the 2026-27 NBA season gets underway, providing digital infrastructure for their arenas and facilities.
Cisco’s relationship with Barclays Center dates to the arena’s 2012 opening, when it deployed high-density Wi-Fi, IPTV, and a network supporting fan connectivity, digital content, security, and venue operations. With the arena in the midst of a multi-year, multi-phase renovation, the work now covers a unified, secure technology foundation across the Nets, Liberty, Long Island Nets, HSS Training Center, Brooklyn Basketball Training Center, and BSE’s entertainment and hospitality portfolio. The goal for BSE’s IT organization is greater visibility, simplified management, and standardized deployments across properties.
In Atlanta, State Farm Arena is rolling out Cisco Wi-Fi 7, making it one of a handful of venues worldwide deploying the technology. The Hawks are also launching the State Farm Arena Production Command Center, a year-round hub for the arena’s live entertainment and production teams serving both Hawks games and concerts.
In Cleveland, Cisco, which has worked with the Cavaliers and Rocket Arena for nearly 20 years, is providing the network for the team’s new practice facility, the Cleveland Clinic Global Peak Performance Center, connecting basketball operations, player health, and training. Cisco is also the presenting partner of the Cavs’ Score with STEM community initiative.
