McDonald’s will launch a limited-time BT21 Happy Meal at participating restaurants nationwide on July 14.
The meal comes with one of 10 BT21 character collectibles, and each one includes a ring clip so fans can attach it to a keyring, purse, or backpack.
According to McDonald’s, each Happy Meal box will also include a QR code that sends customers to HappyMeal.com, where they can unlock a digital experience built around music, creativity, and the BT21 characters.

Delish reported that fans were already reacting online, with some joking that they suddenly needed several Happy Meals to collect the characters.
What’s in the new Happy Meal?
The options include a 4-piece Chicken McNuggets Happy Meal with McNuggets, kid-sized fries, apple slices, a drink choice, and a toy. Drink options include milk, reduced-sugar chocolate milk, Dasani water, or Honest Kids juice
There is also a hamburger option that swaps out the McNuggets. There is no new or unique food item in the BT21 Happy Meal
What is BT21?
BT21 characters were created through a collaboration between LINE FRIENDS and BTS, and the brand launched in 2017.

The official BT21 site says the IP includes eight characters created with participation from BTS members, rather than simple cartoon versions of the artists themselves.
Characters in the BT21 universe include KOYA, RJ, SHOOKY, MANG, CHIMMY, TATA, COOKY, and VAN. The BT21 character page describes TATA and VAN gathering others for an interstellar pop-culture story.
How to order the BT21 Happy Meal
Customers can order the BT21 Happy Meal starting July 14 at participating McDonald’s restaurants nationwide, while supplies last. McDonald’s says the promotion is only available for a limited time.
Fans can order in person, through the McDonald’s app, or through available pickup and delivery options where offered
