FIFA to Sell Pieces of the 2026 World Cup Final Pitch as Collectibles

    • FIFA has unveiled one of the most exclusive collectibles of the 2026 World Cup: authentic pieces of the pitch from the Final at MetLife Stadium. Each item will cost $450 and comes preserved in acrylic with a commemorative USB display

FIFA turns the 2026 World Cup Final pitch into an exclusive collectible

With the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final approaching, FIFA has introduced one of the tournament’s most exclusive official collectibles. Fans and collectors will be able to purchase an authentic piece of the pitch that will be used during the championship match on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, creating a unique keepsake from one of football’s biggest events

From the official FIFA online store, each piece will be priced at $450 and marketed as a premium collector’s item. FIFA describes it as an “authentic piece of football history,” emphasizing that every segment comes directly from the playing surface where the World Cup champion will be crowned

The release expands the tournament’s growing collection of official merchandise and is aimed at supporters who want to own a tangible reminder of a World Cup expected to make history as the first edition featuring 48 national teams, hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada

What buyers will receive with the exclusive collectible

Rather than offering a simple piece of grass, FIFA has designed the product as a premium display item intended for collectors

Each authentic fragment of the pitch will be permanently preserved inside high-quality acrylic and integrated into a commemorative USB display, all presented in a premium collector’s box

According to the product description, every unit contains an original piece of the playing surface from the World Cup Final, making it a one-of-a-kind souvenir from the match that will decide the next world champion

Although FIFA has revealed how the collectible will be presented, orders will only be shipped after the Final has been played, once the pitch has been removed. In addition, distribution will be limited to selected regions, primarily the United States and Europe

FIFA continues expanding its official World Cup merchandise

The collectible pitch is only one part of FIFA’s broader lineup of official products for the 2026 World Cup

Among the available items is the official 2026 FIFA World Cup album, priced at $48, which features music from artists representing different continents and musical styles

Fans who were unable to secure tickets for the tournament can also purchase an official personalized ticket replica for $19. The souvenir includes the buyer’s name and symbolic seat information, serving as a commemorative item rather than an admission ticket

With these products, FIFA continues to expand its range of official memorabilia, offering collectors and football supporters multiple ways to celebrate the tournament even if they are unable to attend matches in person

A keepsake designed to become part of football history

The collectible is designed for fans who see a World Cup Final as one of the most memorable occasions in sports. Rather than being just another souvenir, it aims to preserve a small piece of the venue where football history will once again be made

According to the description provided by the official FIFA online store, the objective is to offer an authentic collectible that allows supporters to feel connected to one of the world’s biggest sporting events
