Animanga fans are in for a treat as Crunchyroll has recently come up with a major announcement that is going to change the way we consume manga. They have now revealed that the popular anime streaming platform will also be offering digital manga on a single platform. This announcement was made on October 8, 2026, and this expansion is going to introduce Indian fans to more than 250 manga titles.

These manga series will be available in English, which gives readers a space to enjoy the popular Japanese stories alongside their anime adaptations. Those who are interested in this service will get access to it through Crunchyroll’s Ultimate Fan membership. Through this service, we will get an ultimate, ad-free anime streaming and manga-reading experience.

With this particular launch, they are going to make a more convenient destination for Indian fans to have a space where they can enjoy both anime and manga. Additionally, the arrival of the manga service is going to give Indian readers access to some popular titles that feature every type of genre, ranging from romance to fantasy, comedy, drama, and action.

So, every kind of series will be offered to readers who love different types of manga. Some of the most notable titles that are going to be available at the launch are going to be:

    • Bocchi the Rock!

    • Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill

    • KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World!

Interestingly, this service is going to be accessible through all platforms like iOS, Android, and web services. This means that it is going to be easier than ever for readers to just sit back and enjoy their favourite series across different devices without any hassles.

If this was not exciting enough news, the popular anime platform has also confirmed that they will soon be adding more titles and publishers in the near future, including popular action manga properties from VIZ Media.

Currently, this initial catalogue gives Indian fans more opportunities to discover stories that may not have been available to them through the same digital reading experience before.

Crunchyroll Manga is available in India through the new Ultimate Fan membership. The subscription combines access to the anime streaming catalogue with its digital manga library, making it an option for fans interested in both formats. Here is a breakdown of the membership details announced for India:

If any fan is still unsure about diving straight into this deal, this platform also offers a 7-day free trial period, so one can experience these updates firsthand before making a commitment.

What is Crunchyroll, and why is manga integration important?

Crunchyroll is an entertainment platform that has gotten popular around the world for how it offers a plethora of anime series for fans to stream around the world. Beyond just having a large library, this company is dedicated to offering something for all the animanga fans, as they offer all kinds of anime-related news, merchandise, games, theatrical releases, and events, which keeps the hype ongoing.

With them now also introducing manga, it can only be described as a move made to expand its ecosystem. Previously, if a fan watched any anime show and wanted to read its manga, they had to find another platform to get access. But now everything is about to change as they are integrating manga into their existing offering.

Basically, the company’s aim is to make the process more convenient for fans. It is a one-stop approach that is going to be extra appealing to fans who are interested in exploring more of a story without jumping across multiple subscriptions. As more titles and publishers join the service, Crunchyroll Manga could become an increasingly attractive option for India’s expanding anime and manga community.
