Video Game Live Expo (VGLX) is returning to Mississauga later this month, bringing playable games, esports tournaments, creators and plenty of Pokémon to the International Centre. iPhone in Canada readers can get 15% off tickets.

As previously announced, the second annual VGLX runs October 24th and 25th. XP Gaming is organizing the consumer-focused gaming convention and expanding its programming after its inaugural event last year.

One of the biggest attractions announced is Electric Clash, an official Challenger Event for the Tekken World Tour 2026. Competitors will face off across Tekken 8, Street Fighter 6, Guilty Gear Strive and MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls, with finals taking place on VGLX’s main stage.

Behaviour Interactive is also attending. The Montreal developer will celebrate 10 years of Dead by Daylight, while its Miss Behaviour’s Horror Indies showcase includes playable games such as Mr. Magpie’s Harmless Card Game, Don’t Fret, Terrible Lizards and It Has My Face.

Canadian voice actors Craig Burnatowski, Jon McLaren and Damon Papadopoulos are among the announced guests. Burnatowski portrayed Albert Wesker in Resident Evil 4 Remake, McLaren played Star-Lord in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, while Papadopoulos appeared as Markos in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

Elsewhere, Toronto KOI will reveal its 2026–2027 esports roster, while an Indie Game Zone will feature playable projects from Canadian and international developers. The show also includes Artist Alley, cosplay, a Creator Lounge and exhibitors including Behaviour Interactive and OverActive Media.

Pokémon fans also get a sizeable portion of the show floor. VGLX is hosting a scavenger hunt, character appearances, a trading card pavilion and Proxy Party, where attendees can create custom Pokémon cards for $30.

VGLX takes place October 24th and 25th at the International Centre, located at 6900 Airport Road in Mississauga. Tickets start at $20, while children under 12 can attend for free. Readers can use code IPHONECANADAVGLX26 to get 15% off their ticket.
