DC Comics and Boston Scally Co. have joined forces for a new officially licensed collaboration that brings some of DC’s most recognizable heroes and villains into the world of Boston Scally’s signature headwear and apparel. The collection is now featured by Boston Scally Co. as “DC COMICS x BSC,” with Superman at the center of the initial offering alongside additional styles inspired by Batman and Two-Face.
Leading the Superman collection is The Superman – Metropolis Blue Patchwork, a US$55.00 officially licensed Boston Scally cap. The eight-panel style combines blue plaid patchwork with Superman red accents and embroidery and is made from a wool blend. Boston Scally Co. describes the design as a tribute to the Man of Steel and the world of Metropolis. The company also notes that demand has resulted in increased handling times for orders containing the Superman cap.
Other Superman themed items in the DC x Boston Scally Co. Collection include the Superman Cap Pin Set which is priced at US$28.00 and the Superman Icon Hoodie – Blue, priced at US$68.00. The pin set includes four collector pins featuring Superman, Krypto the Superdog, Superman No. 1 (1939) comic book cover, and the iconic “S” Shield. The cotton-blend hoodie features co-branded Superman and Boston Scally logos at the chest and Superman-inspired graphic details on the sleeve.
Other DC Comics character-themed products featured in the collection include:
For collectors, comic-book fans and anyone who follows the evolution of licensed DC merchandise, the collaboration offers a streetwear-oriented interpretation of familiar DC iconography while retaining the distinctive materials, silhouettes and construction associated with Boston Scally Co. The Superman offerings provide the clearest entry point into the collection, while the Batman and Two-Face caps broaden the lineup into Gotham.
The collection is available directly through Boston Scally Co.’s online store at BostonScally.com. Product pages provide current pricing, sizing and availability information.
