Roblox stock weighs Q3 bookings decline against growth prospects

Roblox stock weighed USD 1.576 billion to USD 1.653 billion in Q3 bookings guidance against a weaker growth outlook, while the shares stood at USD 48.83 on the NYSE on September 24, 2026. The price was down 0.33 percent from the prior session and remained 65.61 percent below its 52-week high of USD 142.00.

    Q3 guidance marks a reset

According to TechTimes on September 4, 2026, Roblox guided Q3 bookings to USD 1.576 billion to USD 1.653 billion. That range implies a year-over-year decline of 14 percent to 18 percent, a sharp change from 8 percent bookings growth in Q2 2026 and 70 percent growth in Q3 2025.

The guidance is the central operating issue for the stock because bookings reflect cash received from Robux purchases. The same TechTimes report said Roblox declined to provide full-year 2026 guidance.

    Revenue still grows in Q2

Roblox reported USD 1.5 billion in revenue, USD 1.6 billion in bookings and USD 318 million in operating cash flow for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, according to its Roblox investor relations page. The company also reported 123 million daily active users and 29 billion hours engaged for that period.

The contrast is clear: revenue and cash generation remained substantial, but bookings growth slowed from 70 percent in Q3 2025 to 8 percent in Q2 2026. That gap makes monetization, rather than audience scale alone, the key variable for the next report.

Analysts lift targets but stay cautious

As Benzinga reported on September 14, 2026, BofA Securities raised its price target from USD 44 to USD 48 while keeping a Neutral rating. Wedbush raised its target from USD 40 to USD 48, and Wells Fargo lifted its target from USD 46 to USD 64 while maintaining an Overweight rating.

The analyst changes provide a counterweight to the bookings decline, but the targets also show a divided view of Roblox monetization. At USD 48.83, the stock was above the new BofA and Wedbush targets and below the Wells Fargo target on September 24, 2026.

    Stock remains below yearly high

Roblox shares stood at USD 48.83 on the NYSE on September 24, 2026, with a session range of USD 46.97 to USD 50.23 and volume of 20,813,683 shares. Market capitalization was USD 34,882,974,269 on the same date.
