iQOO has now revealed additional display specifications for the Pad Ultra. The gaming tablet features an 8.8-inch 165Hz OLED display with 2.65mm (0.10 inches) bezels on all four sides, a local peak brightness of 4,500 nits, a response time of less than 1ms and a 93.3% screen-to-body ratio.
iQOO has officially revealed its upcoming Pad Ultra gaming tablet in China ahead of its September 29 launch. The company has also confirmed several hardware details of the compact tablet.
The Pad Ultra measures just 5.74mm (0.23 inches) thick, with an all-metal body weighing 298g (0.66 lb). iQOO has also confirmed several gaming-focused features, including enhanced touch controls and dedicated gaming hardware.
For touch input, the tablet supports up to 500Hz multi-touch sampling and up to 5,000Hz instantaneous touch sampling. It also features a new-generation touch system and a gyroscope. Other gaming hardware includes symmetrical dual speakers and dual X-axis linear motors.
Another notable feature is the built-in active cooling fan, which iQOO previously detailed alongside its gaming accessories. The fan measures 30 x 30 x 3.5mm (1.18 x 1.18 x 0.14 inches) and has a heat-dissipation area of 1,661mm². iQOO claims a maximum speed of 14,500 rpm and airflow of 0.94 CFM.
The company has also shown a stretchable game controller and a rear grip designed for the tablet.

iQOO has already started placing the Pad Ultra in vivo and iQOO stores in China, allowing customers to try the tablet before its official launch. The company is also scheduled to hold a gaming technology event on September 23, where it plans to introduce its “3+2” gaming technology framework. iQOO says the Pad Ultra uses its new-generation Monster Super Core Engine and a self-developed scheduler, although further details about these technologies have not yet been disclosed.
The iQOO Pad Ultra is scheduled to launch in China on September 29 at 7 PM Beijing time (11 AM GMT). iQOO has not announced international availability or pricing.
