NODWIN Gaming is set to expand its footprint to Punjab. The maiden edition of Maruti Suzuki presents Jalandhar Comic Con will take place on November 21-22, 2026, at Lovely Professional University (LPU).

With its vibrant education ecosystem, large student community and strong youth culture, Jalandhar is home to a generation that is curious, expressive and eager to explore new experiences. Comic Con will offer this young community a space to come together, celebrate their fandoms and express themselves freely.

Fans can look forward to a packed weekend featuring comic and anime experiences, gaming zones, cosplay showcases, creator interactions, live music and performances, stand-up comedy, exclusive merchandise and immersive brand experiences.

Shefali Johnson, CEO, Comic Con India, said, “Punjab has always had a larger-than-life way of expressing itself. From the poetry of Sufi saints like Bulleh Shah and Sultan Bahu to timeless tales such as Heer Ranjha, storytelling has always been deeply woven into the cultural identity of the state. That love for stories, expression and celebration resonates strongly with the spirit of Comic Con. We are excited to bring the experience to Jalandhar, where people of all ages can come together to celebrate the stories, characters and fandoms they love, and express themselves in their own unique way.”

Akshat Rathee, Co-founder and Managing Director, NODWIN Gaming, said, “Punjab has a natural energy that is hard to miss. From its vibrant folk traditions and high-energy music to its unmissable warmth towards its guests, there is a strong culture of coming together and celebrating what people love. Jalandhar reflects this spirit, as it hosts the world’s oldest festival of Hindustani classical music the Harballabh Sangeet Sammelan bringing people together around a shared love for music for generations. At its core, that spirit of community and self-expression is also what Comic Con is about, bringing people together around the fandoms they love and giving them a space to celebrate and express themselves. As NODWIN Gaming continues to take youth entertainment to new audiences, we are excited to bring Comic Con to Jalandhar and create a space where the city’s young community can bring its own energy, celebrate its fandoms and make Comic Con truly its own.”

The Jalandhar edition marks another step in Comic Con India’s journey of taking fandom to new markets, bringing its unique celebration of pop culture to a vibrant young community beyond the traditional metros.

For NODWIN Gaming, Jalandhar offers an opportunity to connect with a young audience deeply engaged with gaming, music, anime and pop culture. Hosted at Lovely Professional University (LPU), one of the region’s prominent university campuses with a diverse student community from across India and the world, the edition will bring Comic Con closer to a new generation of fans.

With Jalandhar, fans can look forward to a weekend packed with entertainment, fandom, self-expression and unforgettable experiences.
