The corridors of Veridian Hospital are getting busier, and the hearts inside them even more complicated. Prime Video has unveiled the trailer for Heartbeats Season 2, bringing Harsh Beniwal and Shivangi Joshi back as Dr Akshat and Dr Saanjh for another round of romance, ambition and medical drama.

The trailer picks up with Akshat and Saanjh still dealing with unresolved issues, suggesting that their equation will remain one of the season’s emotional anchors. However, there is plenty happening beyond their relationship. The young doctors at Veridian are faced with professional pressures and personal complications as they attempt to find their footing in a demanding environment.
This time, career ambitions appear to take centre stage, with a coveted mentorship opportunity adding another layer of competition among the doctors. As friendships and loyalties are tested, the trailer also introduces a medical scam that threatens to expose a troubling side of the institution they have put their futures in.
That mystery could prove to be the season’s biggest disruptor, especially as the characters find themselves caught between professional aspirations and their personal relationships. The trailer hints at a season where figuring out who to trust may be just as important as navigating the challenges of hospital life.
Alongside Beniwal and Joshi, the returning cast includes Rohan Gurbaxani, Yuvraj Dua, Naqiah Hazi, Ankit Siwach and Aditi Sharma, who recently opened up on domestic violence case against husband, Abhineet Kaushik.

For Beniwal, returning as Akshat offered an opportunity to explore a character facing greater stakes and more internal conflicts. The actor has suggested that the new season will reveal a different side of the young doctor as his experiences begin influencing the choices he makes.
Joshi, meanwhile, steps back into Saanjh’s shoes as the character continues to become more confident in her decisions. Her journey this season combines professional growth with emotional complications, making her relationship with Akshat only one part of a larger story. She was last seen in the reality showLock Upp.
Heartbeats Season 2 continues to balance the pressures of medicine with the messy realities of being young and figuring life out. With romance, rivalry and a medical mystery thrown into the mix, the new season looks set to give viewers plenty to dissect when it arrives on Prime Video and the MX Player by Prime Video on September 9.
