The tournament runs Sunday, September 13, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Central Time. Attendees compete from the Masters of Tri same questions, at the same time, on one leaderboard. Entry is free and no app download is required
The timing is deliberate. 2026 marks 25 years since The Fellowship of the Ring, and FAN EXPO Dallas, which expects more than 65,000 attendees, is marking the anniversary with a reunion of the film’s principal cast.
A format proven three weeks earlier
The Dallas event follows Masters of Trit 21 to 23, which drew more than 300 players and produced a result the company had never recorded. Four competitors answered all 30 questions correctly. The title was decided on average response time, with one second per question separating first from second. Every player in the top ten scored 29 or better, and prizes were awarded in person at the booth

Ninety questions, three tiers, one leaderboard
“One Quiz to Rule Them All” opens with two unscored warm-ups, followed by 90 scored questions across three ascending tiers: Fellowship, Ranger, and Loremaster. Ties break on average response time. Standings are certified after review, and trophies go to the top three.
