We have not one, but two new Onimusha: Way of the Sword videos that delve into the technical side of things – namely frame rate and resolution – plus a Nintendo Switch 2 vs. PS5 graphics comparison.

It looks like Capcom has delivered another solid Nintendo Switch 2 port. While the game is mostly a 30 FPS experience on the console, it holds up well to other platforms.

Digital Foundry shares the following tidbits:

    – Optional 30 FPS cap
    – This has perfect frame pacing and stability
    – Can also run it without a cap
    – This can fall anywhere between 30 and 60 FPS
    – Hair quality dialed back on Switch 2
    – Image quality is less sharp than other consoles
    – Resolution tops out at 1080p docked max, but can be 720p or even slightly below that at certain points
    – Handheld resolution tops out at 900p
    – DLSS is likely being used

Check out the full technical analysis from Digital Foundry below, which covers Onimusha: Way of the Sword’s frame rate, resolution, and more in detail.

    Tech Analysis

We have another video below, which is a Nintendo Switch 2 vs. PS5 graphics comparison. This includes Nintendo Switch 2’s docked and handheld modes.
