Texas (KTSM) — 915 Cards & Collectibles will host its Summer Bash Card Show at the El Paso County Coliseum with thousands of cards, vendors, and lots of guests
915 Cards & Collectibles representative Brandon Beltran joined Mike Martinez and Patricia Martinez on Second Cup on KTSM+ to talk about the upcoming event.
Attendees will have the opportunity to buy, sell, and trade various cards and collectibles, including Pokémon cards, sports cards, autographed memorabilia, and rare items.
“It’s just for the love of the game,” Beltran said about how he became familiar with card shows. “I have a lot of great people around that showed me the ropes.”
Presented by Reliable Financial Services, the free show will take place on Saturday, July 25, from noon to 7 p.m. at 4100 East Paisano Drive.
Beltran explained how the market for Pokémon cards has been on the rise.
“It goes up, it goes down, but right now it’s at a really strong market,” Beltran said. “They’re worth a lot now, but as time goes, they’ll be more appreciated in value.”
Beltran offered some advice for those interested in starting to collect cards and what to do:
“Get a binder, start learning the cards, characters, and what you need to collect,” Beltran said. “Once you fall in love with it, it will make you appreciate your cards more.”
Beltran is encouraging the community to attend the card show.
“It’s something that brings the El Paso community together for the love of cards and collectibles.”
