Zendaya spent the press tour for Christopher Nolan’sThe Odyssey channeling her inner Greek goddess, proving once again why she and her longtime stylist, Law Roach, are in a league of their own.
Emulating her onscreen character, Athena, the goddess of wisdom and strategic warfare, Zendaya’s recent gowns, with their ethereal silhouettes, shield-like details and nods to classical Greek sculpture, have been nothing short of divine. For her final red carpet look ahead of the film’s premiere, the 29-year-old star embraced her most dramatic goddess-inspired look yet: a white Matières Fécales gown featuring a feathered train and enormous sculptural wings.
Whether it’s channeling the age-old “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue” for The Dramapress tour or embracing haute couture ensembles with spider iconography while promotingSpider-Man: Brand New Day,Zendaya’s approach to method dressing remains the blueprint. As both a movie star and a high-fashion muse, herGrecian-inspired style for The Odysseypress tour has continued to leave the internet speechless. She really is that girl.
“I had more of a cultural understanding,” Zendaya told Deadline of Homer’s epic poem. “I think Greek mythology is fascinating and it was really fun to learn, on a deeper sense, learn more about Athena and her becoming, and what she’s supposed to represent and her story.”
Ahead of the film’s premiere on July 17, Yahoo has rounded up all the looks the Emmy winner wore while promoting The Odyssey.
A gilded nod to Athena

Is there anything Z can’tpull off?! For her Tonight Showappearance on July 15, the 29-year-old actor stepped out in a spring 2013 couture look from Zuhair Murad. The archival ensemble featured a gilded brocade suit jacket with puffed shoulders, a deep, plunging neckline, and an accompanying miniskirt. As for shoes, Zendaya opted for Christian Louboutin’s Mizz Z pumps in a mirrored, golden leather.
This wasn’t her only look of the day…
A moment for metallics
While out in New York City on July 15, Zendaya rocked a futuristic Jitrois Massai dress in a light, metallic gold. She paired the dress, which featured a ribbed top, halter neckline, column skirt and thigh-high slit, with gold Christian Louboutin stilettos.
An ethereal winged gown worthy of a finale

What should you wear to close out a celebrated press tour packed with unforgettable outfits? A gown that’s part Greek deity, part avant-garde runway spectacle and part angel, of course. The Matières Fécales number was positively mythological, with floor-sweeping feathered wings, a strapless, sculpted dress complete with a dramatic train, and custom heelless Louboutin pumps that appeared to float — adding to the heavenly effect.
Modern-day gladiator goddess

Serious question: Could she be any chicer? Zendaya was spotted in New York City on July 13 in a white frock from Alberta Ferretti’s spring/summer 2008 collection. The dress, with its deep, plunging neckline and cascading gold-and-silver chains, was paired with archival, knee-high gladiator heels by Sophia Webster. Talk about a modern gladiator goddess!
A twist on the summer dress

Zendaya in Jacquemus? Say less. For her appearance onTodayon July 13, the actress opted for a crisp white dress from the brand’s spring/summer 2027 ready-to-wear collection. The simple, breezy summer dress stood out in its construction and subtle details, including its triangular, midriff-baring top that twisted into a ruffled, high-low midi skirt.
Ruffled to perfection

Leave it to Zendaya to debut yet another exquisite look. For the film’s Paris premiere on July 8, she wore a custom Louis Vuitton getup designed by Nicolas Ghesquière. The white open-cut frock was paired with a matching cropped bolero that featured a “signature frilled escargot lace detail,” which took nearly 800 hours to complete
Z paired the one-of-a-kind design with Christian Louboutin stilettos and Messika jewels.
A gilded daydream

In Paris on July 7, Zendaya stepped out in a look from Givenchy’s spring 1997 couture collection, designed by Alexander McQueen. The collection was dubbed “The Search for the Golden Fleece,” and drew inspiration from the Greek myth of Jason and the Argonauts, who set sail in search of the golden wool of a magical winged ram
Originally modeled by Debra Shaw, the white long-sleeve frock featured a crisp V-neck collar, padded shoulders and exaggerated sleeves that draped over her forearms. But it was Z’s gilded golden face mask, designed by Philip Treacy, that stole the show.
From the runway to the red carpet

Zendaya is no stranger to wearing fresh-off-the-runway looks, but this may take the cake for quickest acquisition of a newly unveiled couture garment.
For the world premiere of The Odysseyin London on July 6, she stepped out in the closing look from Schiaparelli’s fall 2026 couture show, which debuted on the runway in Paris just hours earlier.
The look, which Maison Schiaparelli described as being “illuminated from within,” was as dreamy on Zendaya as it was on the runway. Highlighting the female form, the gown’s lace-up breastplate resembled a marble sculpture and looked as though it was molded to Zendaya’s figure.
Juxtaposing the structured, hyper-realistic top was the garment’s beaded fringe skirt, which featured a seamless, cascading white-to-mirror ombré. Z’s finishing touches were just as exquisite: off-white Christian Louboutin pumps and a multi-strand Chopard diamond necklace. The silvery-white eyeshadow on her inner corners and crown braid added to the dreaminess of her Greek goddess-inspired look.
A serene sartorial moment

Not one, but two! Zendaya slipped into a softer, more relaxed look that still reflected her mythological inspirations after her Schiaparelli moment. Inside the premiere on July 6, she wore a Valentino gown from fall 2026, featuring a sage bralette-style top that looked as though it was crafted from laurel leaves, and a drapey taupe skirt reminiscent of a Grecian tunic. There was an effortlessness to the look, which she completed with Christian Louboutin heels and diamond drop earrings from the Haute Joaillerie collection.
Making Athena proud

Need we say more? Looking like a modern-day Athena, Zendaya kicked off The Odysseypress tour on July 5 in a custom ivory column dress by Jacquemus. While appearing impeccably tailored on the front, the minimalist frock, with its halter neckline and pom-pom trim lining, transformed into a billowing, delicately draped open back. As if that wasn’t enough, the garment’s built-in headscarf added an extra touch of subtle Grecian glamour.
Drawing from “the essence of Athena,” as Roach put it, the look was rounded out with Barron London earrings made from first-millennium B.C. ancient discs, along with — you guessed it
