Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake reveals new display modes, other settings, controls

The remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time will feature new display modes on Nintendo Switch 2, preview footage has revealed. This comes from Zeltik.

There’ll be “Standard,” “Pro,” and “Master” options. With “Standard,” this is what the game will look like for most players. If you choose “Pro,” other minimal information will be shown. Finally, with “Master,” the game won’t display any information.

The footage shows other options as well, including “Targeting Type.” For “Hold,” you can target while holding ZL. For “Toggle,” you can press ZL to target and press “ZL” again to stop targeting.

Outside of that, you’ll be able to change things up in other ways. Examples include turning motion control aiming on and off. You can also enable and disable subtitles, among other things.

Here’s a look at the settings in the Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake:

We also have a look at the controls:

Earlier this week, we found out about a couple of other interesting things. Zelda: Ocarina of Time’s Hall of Fallen Foes is new, as are the “fairy thoughts.”

You’ll be able to pick up the game for Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5, 2026.
