Building on its strong and growing presence in the Gujarati music market, Zee Music Company is further strengthening its regional entertainment footprint with Tom & Cherry, the Gujarati family entertainer presented by Zee Studios in association with Dhea Filmworks. In a first for Gujarati cinema, the film’s worldwide release on the same day, August 28, 2026, underscores the growing global appeal of regionally rooted stories and music that can resonate with audiences worldwide.

The collaboration brings together Zee Music Company’s understanding of the Gujarati music landscape and Zee Studios’ experience in film production and distribution, marking a significant step in Zee’s regional entertainment journey. With audiences increasingly gravitating towards stories that reflect their language, culture, and sensibilities, Tom & Cherry arrives as a family-focused offering that combines humour, warmth, and entertainment.

Over the years, Zee Music Company has expanded its Gujarati catalogue through a diverse mix of film music and regional artists, while developing a strong understanding of local consumption patterns and audience preferences. Tom & Cherry further builds on this momentum, creating an opportunity to connect music and cinema under the Zee umbrella.

Sujal Parekh, Chief Business Officer, Zee Music Company, said, “Gujarati is all about emotions, family and stories, and music has always been a big part of that. Tom & Cherry is special for us as it marks our first step into Gujarati cinema with Zee Studios. & Zee Music Company. We are happy to bring this family entertainer to audiences not just in Gujarat, but across India and the world.”

A fun-filled family entertainer, Tom & Cherry, starring Siddharth Randeria, promises a light-hearted cinema experience this long weekend, bringing together humour, warmth and entertaining moments for viewers of all ages.

The music of Tom & Cherry is available on the Zee Music Company YouTube channel, while the film is now playing in cinemas worldwide.
