Until I watched Yellowstonefor the first time, and suddenly, I unlocked a brand new life requirement: packing up for the middle of nowhere to live on a ranch, riding horseback through the wind with Lainey Wilson blasting in the background.
The show landed on our screens back in 2018, and its premise felt a bit flat at first, or at least, it seemed that way to me. Wealthy folk problems, completely disconnected from real life, zero common ground for regular people to relate to.
I even refused to watch it when people recommended it, convinced I would end up bored to tears. Yet, it took just a couple of episodes to pull me deep into the plot and make me feel like a full-time cowgirl.
Turns out, these people face extreme situations nonstop, like back-to-the-wall stuff, leaving you completely on edge to see what happens next. Behind all the drama sits a family that could easily mirror yours or mine, not because of the money, sadly, but because of the mess.
