Xbox is cheekily marketing GTA 6 with a sweepstakes for an Xbox Series X inside an alligator that one lucky user could win, and they’re calling it the Xbox Series X-Bite.

Destiny: The Cologne

PlayStation has marketing for the biggest release of the generation, Grand Theft Auto VI. That game will release on November 19th on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. If you have paid attention to the marketing around the title, you wouldn’t be remiss to think the game was only coming to Sony’s platform.

Similar to how Destiny used to have exclusive PlayStation 4 marketing, GTA 6 is plastering “plays best on PS5” on everything, with a launch trailer that never mentions Xbox in any way.

To counter this Xbox is getting creative, much like with their “Destiny: The Cologne” advertisement, they are giving away an Xbox Series X inside a fake alligator. Dubbed the Xbox Series X-Bite this sweepstakes will see one lucky winner take home a custom Series X built inside of an alligator shaped shell.

This November, XBOX is heading to Florida – home to incredible wildlife, unforgettable places, and every now and then, stories you have to see to believe. That felt like the right inspiration for a custom XBOX Series X unlike anything we’ve made before: the XBOX Series X-BITE.

The idea is simple: an alligator swallowed an XBOX Series X whole. And yes, it still works.

The alligator has a custom Xbox controller that has bite-marks and can sit in the beast’s jaws. Unfortunately for those outside of the United States, you can only win it if you live within America’s 50 states. Here is how you can enter if you do.
