Get ready to head into the ruins of America, as Image Comics has announced that the White Sky, Vol. 1 trade paperback will be arriving this fall.
From the creative team of writer William Harms (Mafia III, Impaler), artist J.P. Mavinga, and colorist Lee Loughridge (Standstill), this collection gathers the first six issues of the series into one volume.
Harms, Mavinga, Loughridge, and Dukeshire are crafting a post apocalyptic world that contains the elements you are familiar with while bringing something new to the table. The big reveal of the main antagonists and their interaction with Violet shows the power of synergy between great writing and great art.

The story follows a world-ending event that occurred five years prior, when the sky turned white and civilization collapsed. The narrative centers on Violet and her father, David, as they embark on a dangerous journey across the country toward the ruins of San Francisco, fueled by rumors of a safe haven. It’s an apocalyptic survival tale that feels perfectly suited for fans of franchises such as The Last of Us, The Walking Dead, and 28 Days Later.
The White Sky, Vol. 1 trade paperback is scheduled for release on the following dates:
- Wednesday, October 28: Available at local comic book shops.
- Tuesday, November 24: Available at independent bookstores, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-a-Million, Indigo, and Waterstones.
The collection will also be available across numerous digital platforms, including Amazon Kindle, Google Play, Apple’s iBooks, Barnes & Noble’s Nook, Scribd’s Everand, Kobo, Overdrive, Hoopla, Sweet app, and Comic Plus.
