You must grab all the Battle Pass rewards before the game updates and swaps them out for new ones.While the exact in-game launch time has not been announced yet, past seasons have typically gone live around 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET. With there being no end-of-season live event, expect server downtime of around 4 to 6 hours on August 20, with the update expected to begin deploying at around 4 AM ET. Epic Games has officially announced the name of Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4, it is Override. The announcement was made on 5th August 2026, along with the tagline, “Break the rules. Change the game.” The theme for the new season is Gaming Legends and will feature characters from iconic video game franchises.The theme of Override centres on a corrupted system, digital interference, and a cyberspace-inspired aesthetic, with visuals released by Epic Games highlighting corruption effects, glitches, and various elements evoking a computer network under attack. Think pixel-art aesthetics, retro gaming references, and a Fortnite island that looks like it has been thoroughly hacked.
What collabs are confirmed for Fortnite Override?
Confirmed collaborations for Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Override include characters from Sonic the Hedgehog, Persona, and Tetris. Will Sprites return in Fortnite Override?
Epic Games has confirmed that Sprites will return in Chapter 7 Season 4. A new UEFN experience called the Sprite Garden will also launch alongside the season, giving players a dedicated space to showcase and visit their collected companions outside of Battle Royale.
