The stereotype of the playboy-turned-detective is older than Batman, but there are still new spins to be put on it. The popular Korean drama Flex X Cop, whose full first season and <a href="https://comicvibe.com/how-to-watch-power-book-iii-raising-kanan-season-5-episode-8/” title=”How to Watch Power Book III: Raising Kanan Season 5, Episode 8″>episode one of season two drop on August 7, centers on Jin I-soo, who is an immature heir to a massive company and is bored with his job. When he gets mixed up in a violent incident, he leverages his wealth and power to hunt down crooks, much to the chagrin of the female police officer charged with keeping him under control.

Pokémon: Indigo League (August 7, Disney+ and Hulu)
Go back to where it all began with Pokémon: Indigo League, the animated series that brought Nintendo’s monster-catching franchise to the air in 1997. On Ash Ketchum’s 10th birthday, he’s finally old enough to become a Pokémon trainer. When he’s forced to take a misbehaving Pikachu as his first battle friend, it launches him on a journey to become the very best. This show still holds up almost 30 years later, so take a nostalgia trip and (re)watch it this summer.

Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear (Aug. 13, Hulu)
Travis Barker went from a trash collector in Laguna Beach to the drummer for one of the biggest rock groups in the world, but a 2008 plane crash nearly cost the Blink-182 member his life. The new documentary Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear traces the impact of that catastrophe as he wrestles with survivor’s guilt and physical and mental recovery. The film has been in production for over a decade and premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival to warm reviews.
