Kusha Kapila has hit back at rumours that she has patched things up with comedian Samay Raina. The actor and content creator took to her Instagram Stories to shut down the claims after AI generated images of the two started doing the rounds online
Edited photos and videos had spread across social media over the past few days, and a lot of people started assuming the two had quietly ended their public feud. Kusha wasn’t having any of it. She said flat out that the images were fake and made it clear she isn’t friends with Samay. Also, she said she has no interest in ever appearing on his show, India’s Got Latent
She says her face was altered with AI
Kusha reposted one of the viral images on her story and called out whoever was behind it. Her exact words were pointed: “Fake and seeded. My face is AI altered. Why would anyone spend any money doing this is beyond me? The way incel internet will stoop down to minimise me is laughable at this point.”

Basically, she thinks someone put real money and effort into pushing a story that isn’t true
She also gave a shoutout to content creator Nikhil Taneja, who had already flagged that the images were doctored before Kusha even said anything herself. She wrote, “Thank you for always coming through against this hot pile of bakwas garbage that god knows who is funding. It’s laughable.”
Meme pages get called out
In a separate story, Kusha went after meme pages for keeping the reconciliation rumour alive. She asked how much longer this “seeding” was going to continue and hinted there was more to the story than she’s letting on. She brought up the possibility of legal trouble if she said too much, and joked that she’s basically done going to parties at this point
Why she’s still keeping her distance
Kusha then posted a longer, more personal note explaining why her stance on Samay hasn’t changed. She went back to the roast hosted by Ashish Solanki, saying she’d joined the show trusting the process and never got to see or approve the script beforehand
She said the fallout from that roast stayed with her. After it aired, she blocked both Samay and Ashish. She also opened up about going to therapy to deal with what happened, making it clear this wasn’t just internet drama for her, it actually affected her
The birthday party that started new rumours
Part of the fresh speculation came from a birthday party for singer Jasleen Royal, where both Kusha and Samay happened to be guests. Kusha addressed this directly, saying that being at the same event doesn’t mean anything has been resolved between them. She pushed back on the idea that people should read into a shared appearance as some kind of reconciliation
“Allow me to heal”
In her final message on the topic, Kusha asked people to stop speculating about her personal life. She said she doesn’t need anyone defending her online or running some kind of PR push on her behalf. She just wants to live her life without it constantly being turned into a story
Kusha ended with a simple, honest line, saying healing doesn’t run on anyone else’s timeline and asking people to let her carry this pain privately
How the feud started
The falling out between Kusha and Samay goes back to 2024 after his comments on Pretty Good Roast Show Season 1 sparked backlash. Several jokes during the roast targeted Kusha’s marriage and her divorce from Zorawar Ahluwalia. She blocked Samay right after and later said the jokes had left her feeling dehumanised
