[Weekly ☆ Character Showcase #280: Maraikoh From the Dragon Ball Z Anime!]

Maraikoh -Dragon Ball Z-

The Weekly ☆ Character Showcase is an article series where we introduce one character from the Dragon Ball universe each week.
This time, we’re looking at Maraikoh from the Dragon Ball Z anime.

Story

A warrior with a massive body and a dinosaur-like appearance.
He participates in the Another World Budokai as the representative of the West Galaxy.

He faces off against Froug in the second match.
Taking a flying kick meant as a greeting head-on with his robust chest, he sends Froug flying with a powerful punch.

Froug counters by inflating his body to many times its normal size.
Maraikoh is almost pushed out of bounds, but shouting “You won’t beat me!” He uses his superhuman strength to throw Froug and secure a come-from-behind victory.

He advances to the semifinals to face Goku, the representative of the North Galaxy.
Right at the start of the match, he unleashes a barrage of attacks at blinding speed, but Goku dodges them by a hair’s breadth.

Swinging his tail, he knocks Goku high into the air and roars, “I’ll finish this,” but Goku begins his counterattack at incredible speed.
Maraikoh tries to fight back by throwing a meteorite, but it is shattered by an Energy Wave.

He turns invisible to hide, but Goku finds him, grabs him by the tail, and throws him out of bounds for a ring-out loss.
