Japan Magazine Publishers Association, which tracks quarterly certified print publications, announced the latest figure on Aug 5.

TOKYO – The average circulation of Weekly Shonen Jump fell below 1 million copies for the first time since official figures began, marking another milestone in the long-term decline of Japan’s print manga magazine market.

Weekly Shonen Jump recorded an average certified print circulation of 985,000 copies per issue from April through June 2026, according to figures published on the official website of the Japan Magazine Publishers Association.
