As part of its ongoing NVIDIA GeForce Week sale event, Walmart is offering one of Acer’s Nitro 85 gaming PCs with an RTX 5070 GPU for $1,449 shipped. This is regularly a $1,900 prebuilt, so you’re looking at a straight $451 discount right now. That’s a solid deal considering a standalone 12GB RTX 5070 itself can easily set you back a good chunk of the total asking price here. Acer is also throwing in AMD’s Ryzen 7 8700F processor, 16GB of memory, a 1TB SSD, a motherboard with built-in Wi-Fi, and a slick panoramic glass chassis with plenty of RGB lighting. All of that at $1,449 makes this a pretty strong value if you’re looking to pick up a ready-to-go gaming desktop instead of building one from scratch. Head below for more details.
As far as the specifications are concerned, Acer’s Nitro 85 desktop pairs AMD’s Ryzen 7 8700F processor with NVIDIA’s 12GB RTX 5070 graphics card. You also get 16GB of memory and a 1TB SSD, giving you a solid starting point for a modern gaming desktop. The RTX 5070 is the main draw here, with enough horsepower for high refresh-rate 1440p gaming and even some 4K play depending on the title and settings. Acer rounds out the setup with a sharp-looking chassis featuring panoramic glass, plenty of RGB lighting, built-in Wi-Fi, Windows 11, and a solid selection of ports.
