VisionQuest Disney+ TV Show May Set Up Even More Paul Bettany MCU Projects
    • Paul Bettany’s upcoming Disney+ TV show VisionQuest may lead to future Marvel projects involving his character Vision.
    • The final chapter of the WandaVision trilogy is expected to focus on White Vision and his struggle to define his identity in relation to the original Red Vision.
    • Bettany has hinted that VisionQuest will serve as a springboard for the character of Vision in future Marvel Cinematic Universe projects, with the actor teasing potential appearances in major crossover films.

VisionQuest could be setting up much more than fans realize. The upcoming Disney+ TV show might pave the way for several future projects involving Paul Bettany. The English actor will be reprising his titular role as Vision, following his stint in 2021’s WandaVision and other Marvel movies.

The final chapter of the WandaVision trilogy is expected to revolve around White Vision. In a latest update from Entertainment Weekly, the 55-year-old hinted that the show will have a tough time defining who White Vision exactly is in relation to the original Red Vision. This will also be the central plot of the upcoming sitcom and White Vision’s fundamental confusion.

Adding to the intrigue, Bettany teased that VisionQuest serves as “a springboard for where Vision might go.” The actor further added, “It feels like the beginning of something for a new type of Vision.” While nothing is confirmed yet, Bettany’s latest statements could mean Vision making more appearances in future Marvel projects.

Where could Paul Bettany show up in the MCU next after VisionQuest?

Marvel has officially confirmed Paul Bettany for upcoming projects after VisionQuest. However, the actor has hinted at what Vision’s future in the MCU might look like. The next step for him could be major crossover films in the MCU.

Reflecting on White Vision’s character arc, Bettany and the creators teased that the upcoming series might just be the beginning. As in VisionQuest, White Vision gains independence and searches for his own purpose.

The English actor told CinemaBlend in an interview, “We start off the show where we left him as White Vision, who has been repurposed as a weapon. I think that where we get to at the end of this, he’s clearly escaped the confines of whoever repurposed him, and he is looking for agency. By the end of our show, I think you’ll see that it’s a really exciting springboard for what Vision might do in the future.” Adding to this, Bettany told The Telegraph in a 2025 interview, “I think I’ve got some Avengers duties next year.”

VisionQuest will premiere on Disney+ on October 14, 2026, with episodes releasing weekly.
