It will be a meeting point to experience football on the biggest screen in Latin America

From 11 from June to 19 from July, University Cultural Center (CCU)from the University of Guadalajara (UdeG)will host the FutFest 2026, an experience that will combine a passion for football with a wide range of cultural, musical, gastronomic and entertainment offerings for the whole family. 

FutFest will allow Enjoy sporting events on the biggest screen in Latin America: the Bicentennial Screen of the FICG Film Archive; in addition to free activities that will enrich the experience of the attendees.

It also seeks to consolidate itself as a meeting point for sports and culture enthusiastsOffering live broadcasts of football matches, social spaces, music, film, food and drinks, as well as a cultural agenda specially designed to complement each football day.

Among the most anticipated matches are those of MexicovsSouth Africa (June 11), Czech RepublicvsMexico (June 24), as well as the duels BrazilvsMorocco, SpainvsSaudi Arabia, UruguayvsSpain y ColombiavsPortugal.

In addition to sports broadcasts, the public will be able to enjoy a film cycle thematic with different projections, such as: 
 

• Niños Héroes: the three finals of Atlas, FC

• Among others, which will be shown before the football matches.
   

La cultural programming offers special activities in the The Juan José Arreola State Public Library of Jalisco and the Carlos Fuentes Bookstoreas the  stamp exchanges, calls for to build a collective memory of the 1970 and 1986 World Cups, in addition to talks on literature, cartoons and stories related to soccer.

As part of the festival’s offerings, the University Cultural Pavilion will host the immersive exhibition Ball game: Mexico, the origin of footballOpen from June 10 to August 10; an experience that explores the game from its pre-Hispanic roots to its cultural and technological evolution.
