Twitch streamer Tylil James has drawn criticism online after a video uploaded on 6 November showing a flight attendant taking his ice cream order circulated across social media, with viewers questioning why the interaction was recorded and shared.
The footage shows the attendant offering James a selection of toppings while he chooses chocolate chips and hot fudge. Some viewers criticised the decision to post the recording, while others defended the streamer and questioned whether the exchange warranted backlash.
This is one of the most sweetest people that I’ve ever worked with. I am honestly heartbroken that this is happening to her. https://t.co/vkrbq0vjbl

Flight Attendant’s Ice Cream Service Goes Viral
In the short clip, the flight attendant offers James several toppings, including almonds, orange, and a cherry, as she prepares his dessert. James requests chocolate chips before adding hot fudge. When she asks whether he would like whipped cream, he replies, ‘No, thank you.’
The attendant continues preparing the order, with the exchange remaining polite throughout the recording. Unlike most viral videos online, the footage did not contain a tantrum or an attempt by the recorder to harass the flight attendant, or any similar gimmicks or tricks that have gotten influencers in trouble in the past.
The video subsequently spread across X, TikTok, and Instagram. Reposted versions prompted reactions to the attendant’s appearance as well as criticism of the decision to film her. The airline, flight route and flight attendant’s identity have not been independently verified.

Viewers Divided Over Flight Attendant Video
Some viewers objected to the recording, arguing that the attendant was simply carrying out her duties and should not have become the subject of online ridicule. One social media user wrote, ‘she was so kind i hate that ya do this to people,’ in a post reproduced by The Neighborhood Talk.
Another commented, ‘Nice lady, folks not use to others doing there job well.’ A separate viewer wrote, ‘She is such a Beautiful Soul inside and outside.’
The supportive responses came amid other comments criticising the attendant’s appearance, including comparisons with fictional characters and public figures. Some commenters speculated that the footage was AI-generated; that speculation has not been substantiated.
Other viewers defended James, questioning whether recording an ordinary customer-service interaction amounted to mistreatment. They also pointed out that the influencer was very quiet and cordial to the flight attendant while being recorded.
‘what did he do other than record? he didn’t say anything,’ one commenter wrote. Another said, ‘People judging him for posting meanwhile I would record for my safety bc this is scary idc.’
The claim that the attendant was unaware she was being filmed remains unverified. The available footage does not establish whether she knew she was being recorded.
Original Video Reportedly Deleted
The original recording was reportedly removed from X. Copies remained available through social media reposts, including a repost shared by The Neighborhood Talk on Instagram on 6 November 2026.
The gossip account’s post described James as facing backlash for allegedly recording the attendant without her knowledge. As of 7 November, no verified public statement from James addressing the attendant’s awareness of the recording or his decision to share it had been identified.
The attendant’s identity and response remain unknown.
