Ariz. (13 News) – This weekend is filled with lots of Labor Day events, Comic Con and more!
Tucson Comic Con is back for another year of comics, cosplay and all things pop culture. Weekend-long tickets cost $78.65 but individual days are still available to purchase.
Where: Tucson Convention Center
Friday: 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Sunday: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
12 local bakeries are coming together for a cake gallery. Attendees can view, vote, play bingo and watch the Great British Bake Off. Tasting tickets cost $15.
When: 6:00 p.m.
The 11th annual Labor Day Rodeo is back! Beginning on Saturday and closing out on Labor Day, attendees can enjoy three days of classic rodeo events such as a steak fry, bull riding and live music.
Head to Hotel Congress after Comic Con for the official after-party. Celebrate with DJs, giveaways, cosplay, special guests and more. Tickets cost $15.
When: 9:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.
Celebrate the end of summer and the transition into fall with one last bash. Enjoy live music from Bolero Jonze and yummy summer staples such as hot dogs and ice cream.
Hacienda Del Sol is hosting their 4th annual Labor Day Luau. Attendees can feast on the endless Hawaiian buffet, drink tiki-themed cocktails and mocktails and listen to live music. Tickets are limited and cost $85.
