The White House launched a new online arcade Thursday, putting a retro spin on some of President Donald Trump’s signature policies with five new games.
“Build the wall. Deport. Fill a Trump Account,” the White House wrote on social media announcing the launch.
A White House official told Newsweekthat the administration is “laser focused” on ways to innovate and tell the story of the “President’s many accomplishments in a way that resonates with every American.”
“The President continues to rack up victory after victory on behalf of the American public, while opponents of his agenda are defending their record of raising taxes and empowering criminal illegal aliens,” the official said, adding that the arcade project is an effort to “further contrast” a culture of fun and winning with the “dark socialist vision Democrats have for America.”
Texas Democratic state Representative Jessica González criticized the launch, writing on X: “Trump’s White House literally built video games on a government website before doing anything to solve America’s affordability crisis.”
The rollout comes as households continue to grapple with the cost of both major purchases and everyday necessities: the median U.S. home price is around $430,000, grocery prices are roughly 30 percent higher than they were in 2020, and gasoline prices remain about 45 percent above their 2020 average despite easing from recent peaks. The administration argues its economic policies are helping lower costs and boost household wealth, while critics contend many families continue to feel squeezed by the cumulative rise in housing, food and fuel costs over the past several years.
What Is the White House Arcade?
The new “Arcade” section of the White House website features five low-resolution, retro-style games based on familiar arcade classics and tied to different parts of the administration’s agenda.
What Games Are On The White House Arcade?
Build the Wall,which resembles Tetris, challenges players to stack sections of a border wall while protecting the country from what the game calls the “coming horde.”
Rio Run, a version of the classic game Snake, features a digital version of border czar Tom Homan leading a growing line of figures in orange jumpsuits as he chases other figures across a grid depicting the Rio Grande.
The administration’s Make America Healthy Again agenda gets its own game with Supply Line, in which players sort food moving along an assembly line and reject items that do not meet the game’s standards for school lunches.
Two of the games take place over the nation’s capital. In Flappy Bill, a bald eagle carries legislation across the National Mall while players try to avoid obstacles.
In Trump Savings Tycoon, players collect money to “Fill your kids’ Trump Accounts,” the administration-backed savings program that provides $1,000 to eligible children born during Trump’s current term.
Will There Be More Games On The White House Arcade?
The White House appears to have more games planned. Beneath the five currently available titles, the Arcade page includes a “Coming Soon” section teasing another game with the message: “A new adventure awaits.”

What Are Trump Accounts?
More than six million Trump Accounts had already been requested as of July 6, days after the program launched, according to the White House. The accounts are free to open for every U.S. citizen under 18. Children born between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2028, are eligible to receive a one-time $1,000 seed investment from the federal government. Families and others can also contribute to the accounts, with the money invested in funds that track broad U.S. stock market indexes.
