NEW YORK (WKRC) — Just in time for the holiday season, Toys ‘R’ Us has plans for a big comeback.
The retailer just announced plans to open 120 new stores in the United States. Toys ‘R’ Us says the new stores will sell toys, collectibles and gifts. Some will have cafes, candy shops and creator studios where content creators can film content.
The company has not yet released a list of new locations or opening dates.
This all comes nearly a decade after Toys ‘R’ Us filed for bankruptcy and closed all of its U.S. stores. The company began opening smaller stores in 2019 and currently has 40 standalone stores.
