In Bengaluru and Mumbai, some premium tickets are being sold for more than Rs 2,000. A ticket at Jio World Drive in Bandra is priced at Rs 2,250, including taxes. Not only this, ticket prices have soared to Rs 2,600 for some shows at Jio World Plaza. In Bengaluru, a ticket at Forum Rex Walk costs Rs 2,181, including taxes. Several other multiplexes across Bengaluru and Mumbai are also offering premium shows priced above Rs 1,500.
As per a report in Bollywood Hungama, Toxic has taken an extraordinary start in advance bookings for the Hindi-dubbed version. It has sold 30,000 tickets across the top three national chains – PVRInox and Cinepolis – in less than six hours. It has recorded the second-biggest advance booking of 2026 after Dhurandhar 2. The film is reportedly targeting a worldwide release across more than 12,000 screens.
More about Toxic
Yash-starrer Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has received an âA’ certificate from the CBFC without any cuts. The decision has amused social media users, given the film’s reported violence, adult themes and comparisons with other movies facing stricter censorship. The film has a runtime of around 3 hours and 12 minutes.
During an appearance on Aap Ki Adalat, Yash reacted to violence and intimate scenes in the movie. He said, “Vulgarity is wrong. I haven’t even kissed, as you may have noticed. Toxic is for Gen Zs. It’s for the conversations you guys are having, what problems you guys have with the seniors.”
Earlier, Yash also defended Kiara Advani after she was criticised for the song Tabaahi, where she is seen in steamy intimate scenes with Yash’s character.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic features a prominent ensemble cast, including Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth and Tara Sutaria alongside Yash. The film is set to arrive in theatres on August 26.
