Remember when PC gaming was accessible to all, and not a luxury? Those days won’t be back for a while, but in the meantime, you can still find a reasonably priced (relatively) pre-built gaming PC that’ll happily run all modern games. For a limited time, this Stormcraft gaming PC with an RTX 5060 Ti 8GB, Intel 14400F, 1TB SSD, and 16GB of DDR4 memory is on sale for $1,149. That’s $250 off, or 17%. That’s a pretty good deal.
The build’s gaming chops are provided by an RTX 5060 Ti 8GB. Newegg doesn’t specify the brand, likely so it can switch brands depending on what stock it has. Read up on the RTX 5060 Ti 8GB with Kosta’s review of the Inno3D TWIN X2 to get an idea of how it performs. It’s a solid 1080p card, but it can handle 1440p too, especially if you enable DLSS in demanding titles.
The CPU of choice is an Intel i5 14400F. It’s a good choice for a mainstream gaming build, especially since it supports DDR4. It’s a generation behind, but its 6 performance cores and 4 efficient cores can easily handle modern titles, and it’s not a power-hungry beast that requires high-end cooling. It’s paired with a GIGABYTE B760M C motherboard to do the job.

DDR4 support helps keep costs down, and 2x8GB of DDR4-3200 with RGB lighting is a smart choice. It’s joined by a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. If this PC included 32GB of DDR5, it would cost hundreds of dollars more.
Newegg doesn’t specify the brand of the other components beyond a tower air cooler, a 650W Gold-rated PSU, and a black windowed case. I’d imagine it will sell a lot of these PCs, and it’s keeping its options open in case it needs to switch components.

Can the Stormcraft PC’s 16GB of DDR4-3200 memory be upgraded, and what memory capacity does the GIGABYTE B760M C support?
How much headroom does the Stormcraft PC’s 650W Gold-rated power supply provide for a graphics card upgrade?
Can the Stormcraft PC’s 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD be expanded with additional storage?

Overall, it’s a solid gaming PC for a good price. Bear in mind an RTX 5060 Ti 8GB costs over $500 by itself, so getting the rest of the PC for $650 or so is pretty sweet. If you want a new build with affordable options and don’t want to build it yourself, this deal is well worth considering at its current $1,149 price.
