There are rumors floating around that Nvidia is cutting back production on its GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card. The same rumor for the RTX 5090 earlier this month has recently caused 5090 prebuilt prices to skyrocket. Your window to get a powerful gaming PC for a somewhat affordable price might be running thin, and at that point I don’t know if even Black Friday itself can resolve the situation. Get a deal while one still exists.
For today only, Best Buy is offering a CyberPowerPC RTX 5080 prebuilt gaming PC for $2,989.99 with free shipping after a $340 off instant discount. This is one of the few 5080 prebuilts under $3,000 that I can currently find for under $3K (from a brand I’ve heard of). It’s also equipped with a generous amount of equally rare RAM and flash storage.

CyberPowerPC AMD Ryzen 9 9900X GeForce RTX 5080 Gaming PC (32GB/2TB)
The Cyberpowerpc gaming PC is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 9 9900X CPU, GeForce RTX 5080 16GB GPU, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 2TB SSD. The Ryzen 9 9900X is a 12-core 24-thread Zen 5 processor with a max boost clock of 5.6GHz. Thanks to its high clock speed this is an excellent CPU for gaming, and the relatively high core count makes it good for standard workstation and productivity use as well.
The system is housed in a modified Phanteks Evol X2 chassis, which was one of the coolest cases showcased at CES 2025. This high quality midtower chassis features a panoramic tempered glass design that makes it look like the motherboard is suspended in the air. Practically speaking, there is plenty of room for future upgrades and offers plenty of airflow for all of your heat generating components.
The GeForce RTX 5080 GPU will run any game in 4K
Performance-wise, the RTX 5080 is no slouch. It’s one of the fastest cards on the market, bested only by the $2,000 (retail) RTX 5090 and the discontinued $1,600 (retail) RTX 4090. You’ll be able to play latest, most demanding games in 4K resolution at high settings and ray tracing enabled. The DLSS 4.5 update has further optimized multi-frame gen and upscaling so you can push really high framerates even in 4K. More games are supporting this feature, including Doom: The Dark Ages, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Battlefield 6, Death Stranding 2, and Crimson Desert.
