The Master of Ragnarok & Blesser of Einherjaris now available to stream in India on Crunchyroll, with Japanese audio and English subtitles. The fantasy anime follows a teenager transported to a world resembling Norse mythology, where knowledge from his own time helps him rise to power and lead a clan into battle.

Yuuto Suoh is a junior high school student who becomes separated from his childhood friend, Mitsuki Shimoya, after investigating a local legend. He finds himself in another world populated by rival clans and powerful warrior maidens known as Einherjar. The world initially appears to resemble Norse mythology, but Yuuto gradually learns more about its history.

After being taken in by the Wolf Clan, Yuuto becomes its patriarch. His modern knowledge, combined with information stored on the smartphone he brought with him, gives him an advantage in military strategy. He uses that knowledge to help his clan fight its rivals and protect its position.

Although Yuuto gains followers and the loyalty of several Einherjar, his main goal remains returning to Mitsuki. His efforts to survive and lead his new people pull him into conflicts that become increasingly complicated.

The series is based on a light novel written by Seiichi Takayama and illustrated by Yukisan. Hobby Japan began publishing the novels in August 2013, and the series concluded in March 2023 after 24 volumes. Chany also created a manga adaptation.

EMT Squared produced the television anime, which aired for 12 episodes between July and September 2018. Kōsuke Kobayashi directed the series, Natsuko Takahashi handled the scripts, and Kouta Yokoseki composed the music.

Combining the isekai genre with military strategy and Norse-inspired mythology, the anime follows Yuuto as he uses what he knows about the modern world to navigate a setting where strength and leadership determine a clan’s survival.
