This Is Us & Paradise Creator’s New TV Show With Mandy Moore Scores Release Date

Mandy Moore is reuniting with This Is Us creator Dan Fogelman for his next family drama. The actress will star in the new Hulu series, which marks Fogelman’s follow-up to Paradise. The show will also bring an NFL setting into Fogelman’s signature family-focused storytelling.

The Land will premiere on Monday, February 15, 2027, shortly after the Super Bowl. Variety reports that Hulu will drop the first two episodes at 9 p.m. PT, before moving to a weekly release schedule. Moore will star alongside William H. Macy and Christopher Meloni.

What is Dan Fogelman’s The Land with Mandy Moore about?

The Land follows two families whose lives revolve around a fictional NFL franchise. Christopher Meloni plays head coach Danny Roarke, who has one final opportunity to turn around his struggling team. His future depends on a newly drafted Ohio State quarterback who happens to be his son.

William H. Macy plays Hal Durkin, the team’s owner. He has two daughters and must determine which one will eventually take over the franchise. Moore plays Lauren Durkin, one of Hal’s daughters, as the family prepares for a battle over the team’s future.

The series draws inspiration from the Cleveland Browns while featuring its own fictional characters and storyline. Its central conflict combines the pressures of running an NFL organization with the personal struggles of the families surrounding it.

The ensemble also includes Bridget Moynahan, Chace Crawford, Sam Corlett, Chloe Bennet, Omar Epps, and Tanner Zagarino. Michael McGrady, Calahan Skogman, Thomas Q. Jones, and Benjamin Bratt will appear in recurring roles.

Fogelman created The Land and serves as its showrunner and executive producer. He executive produces alongside Jess Rosenthal, Kevin Falls, Justin Adler, David Ellison, Jesse Sisgold, and Jason T. Reed. 20th Television and Skydance Sports produce the series, with NFL Films also involved.

With its post-Super Bowl premiere, The Land will launch on Hulu. The first two episodes will debut together on February 15, followed by weekly episodes.
