    Characters from sci-fi classics, anime, and international comic books crowded the Bowlers Exhibition Centre

    Characters from sci-fi classics, anime, and international comic books crowded the Bowlers Exhibition Centre on July 25, for the first day of Comic Con Manchester.

    Whether they’re here for the cosplay contest, celebrity photo opportunities, or just having fun with like-minded individuals, proud nerds of all ages continue to celebrate their favourite pop culture characters.

    Impressed with the level of work and technical skill displayed in these outfits, the Manchester Evening News photographed some of the vibrant sights, made up of all ages and alien species.
