    What To Know

    • The entire series of The Neighborhood (Seasons 1–8) will be available to stream on Netflix starting November 5, while also remaining on Paramount+ and other platforms.
    • Fans expressed excitement on social media, anticipating a new audience and increased popularity for the show on Netflix.
    • The Neighborhood concluded earlier this year with its eighth and final season, and its spinoff Crutch remains exclusively on Paramount+.

Welcome to a new streaming neighborhood. The hit CBS show The Neighborhood, which aired its final season earlier this year, is getting a new home. The Neighborhood used to only be available to stream on Paramount+, but it will be added to Netflix soon.

On October 21, Netflix announced which shows, movies, sports, and more would be coming in November. On the final slide of their Instagram announcement, fans noticed that Season 1 through 8, which is the entire series, will be on the streamer starting November 5.

The Neighborhood currently streams on Paramount+, which is where most CBS shows are stationed. The show will be joined by the 2006 Christmas film, Deck the Halls, which releases on Netflix on the same day.

Other movies and shows that are being added to the streamer in November include Bridesmaids, Smile, Insidious, Season 2 of St. Denis Medical, Seasons 1 to 4 of Will Trent, Stand By Me, Christmas movies, and more.

However, The Neighborhood seems to also be staying on Paramount+ for those who are in the middle of a rewatch. Fans can also watch the comedy on Tubi or Pluto TV. The spinoff series, Crutch, which was canceled after one season, exclusively streams on Paramount+.

Fans of the show reacted to the news on Reddit. “Excellent. I hope it is all seasons,” one fan said.

“I might have to get Netflix,” another commented.

“Great, hoping it will get a whole new audience, I’m guessing it will be on the top 10 shows for weeks, if not months,” a third added.

“I gotta do my rewatch; might as well do it on Netflix,” a fan said.

“November 5,” an Instagram user commented with crying emojis.

After eight seasons, The Neighborhood ended with a double Butler wedding and pregnancy. The Johnsons moved back to Kalamazoo, Michigan, after Dave (Max Greenfield) took a well-paying job.

Since the show is not coming back for another season, this is just another way for fans to enjoy the series.

What do you think of the addition of The Neighborhood to Netflix? Will you watch it on the streamer? Let us know in the comments.
