The Jujutsu Kaisen Final Exhibition is scheduled to take place at Triangle Plaza in the Shinjuku Sumitomo building, Tokyo, from December 25, 2026 to January 25, 2027.
More than just a chance to look back on the journey of the manga that once created a global sensation, the exhibition also opens up opportunities to explore little-known sketches, character designs, and behind-the-scenes materials.
In particular, content related to Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo promises to help fans better understand how Gege Akutami develops the story after the main series concludes.
The story behind Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo
Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo is a sequel with illustrations by Yuji Iwasaki. It was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from September 2025 to March 2026, comprising 25 chapters, and was later compiled into three volumes
Unlike simply showcasing finished images, the new exhibition area will focus on the creative process, from initial ideas to the final shaping of characters and plot points on the comic pages.

These materials are especially meaningful for fans who want to understand how the author constructed the world and developed the characters. In manga, even a small change in design, expression, or frame layout can affect how readers perceive the story. Releasing these early sketches therefore helps reveal the work behind the finished pages.
Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo marks a significant transition for the franchise after the story of Yuji Itadori and the sorcerers came to a close.
The exhibition dedicating space to this particular story arc demonstrates that the appeal of the Jujutsu Kaisen world lies not only in its familiar characters but also in its ability to expand the story to a new generation.
In addition to professional materials, the organizers also showcased souvenirs for visitors. Notable items included tote bags inspired by the Domain Expansion ability, along with acrylic models, special stickers, keychains, badges, and diorama models.
Gege Akutami continues to unravel the mystery.
Besides showcasing Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, the exhibition also offers an opportunity to delve deeper into the ending of the original manga.
Gege Akutami is expected to share additional comments, clarifying the layers of meaning in the final part of the story, and answer questions related to the Shinjuku Showdown battle through a special Q&A session.

This is one of the noteworthy points for readers who still have many questions after the story reaches its conclusion. Shinjuku Showdown is one of the most important parts of the series, bringing together confrontations that determine the fate of many key characters.
The exhibition will also showcase previously unreleased materials from volumes 28 to 30, including storyboards, drafts, and set designs. These materials allow fans to look back at the development of the final chapters and gain a better understanding of how Akutami transformed his initial ideas into complete story scenes.
Volume 30 of Jujutsu Kaisen was released in Japan on December 25, 2024, marking the end of the manga series. The final exhibition took place almost exactly two years after the series concluded, providing readers with an opportunity to look back on the entire journey of the franchise.
