The Season 3 finale, titled “The Unraveling,” aired on September 20, 2026. It revealed that Aaliyah Amrohi, the target from Season 1, masterminded Joe McNamara’s abduction throughout the season. Aaliyah, now married and living in Qatar, ordered another attempt on Joe. She plans to lure the entire Lioness team into a trap by capturing their leader again.
The finale also delivered a major blow to Joe’s personal life. Her husband Neal left with their daughters after Joe chose work over returning home. Meanwhile, QRF members Tex and Randy sustained gunshot wounds during a brutal firefight in Washington, D.C. Both survived surgery, but their injuries underscore the season’s rising stakes.
