The movie now belongs to the people, a jubilant producer of ‘Jana Nayagan’, Venkat K Narayana said on Thursday, as the highly anticipated film of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay hit screens across the country.

Ahead of Jana Nayagan`s release, producer Narayana expressed disappointment over the film receiving an A certificate. He said the makers wanted a U/A rating so families could watch the film together but respect the CBFC`s decision
