Class Revival Hunter is officially getting an anime adaptation, with the series set to premiere in January 2027. Crunchyroll has also confirmed it will stream the anime worldwide outside Asia, including in the Indian subcontinent, Indonesia, Singapore, the Philippines, and Malaysia
Alongside the announcement, the anime revealed its first teaser trailer, a key visual, the lead voice cast, and the main production staff, giving fans their first proper look at Gongja Kim’s journey from the weakest Hunter to someone with an unusual path to power.

The teaser introduces Gongja Kim, an F-rank Hunter who spends his days looking up at the strongest Hunters around him, especially the legendary Flame Emperor. His life changes after a mysterious glowing card appears before him, while the fearsome Sword Emperor watches from the shadows. The trailer hints at the unusual ability that defines the series, an S-rank skill that only activates when Gongja dies.
Takeo Otsuka will voice Gongja Kim, while Satoshi Hino joins the cast as the Sword Emperor.
The anime is directed by Hiroaki Sakurai, with series composition by Sayuri Oba and character designs by Takahiro Yoshimatsu. Animation production is handled by STUDIO fu.
Based on the popular Korean web novel and webcomic, SSS-Class Revival Hunter follows a mysterious tower filled with monsters that attracts Hunters seeking fame and fortune. Gongja Kim begins as a weak F-rank Hunter with little hope of standing out, until he gains a rare S-rank ability that comes with a deadly condition: he must die to use it. From there, his climb through the tower takes a very different route than anyone expected.
