MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — The South Alabama Comic Con is returning to Mobile, featuring celebrities, gaming, cosplay and more, according to event organizers.
According to a news release, the convention is set for Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 3 and 4 at the Mobile Convention Center.
Confirmed guests so far include:
- Diedrich Bader (The Drew Carey Show, Napoleon Dynamite, Office Space)
- Kristy McNichol (Little Darlings, The Pirate Movie, Empty Nest)
- Vicki Lawrence (The Carol Burnette Show, Mama’s Family)
- Matt Ryan (Constantine, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow)
- Vernon Wells (The Road Warrior, Commando)
- Karan Ashley (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers)
- Voice actors Troy Baker (The Last of Us), Kellen Goff (Five Nights At Freddy’s), & Debi
Derryberry (Jimmy Neutron – Boy Genius) - The voice actors from the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series – Rob
Paulsen, Barry Gordon, Townsend Coleman, and Renae Jacobs - From Rick and Morty – Spencer Grammer, Ian Cardoni, and Harry Belden
- From the Red Dead Redemption video game series – Roger Clark, Rob Wiethoff,

Attendees can enjoy Q&As with celebrities, panels presented by professional cosplayers and artists, and a costume contest as well as video and tabletop gaming, photo ops, and lots of vendors.
Additionally, local fan groups will have displays and performances throughout the weekend.
Advance discount tickets are available starting at $30 for one day and $50 for the weekend. Members of the military are eligible for discounts, and children 10 and younger are free with a paid adult admission; limit two children per paid ticket.
