Mobile Suit Gundam is starting a new shared universe with a new anime officially titled Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO. Announced at San Diego Comic-Con 2026, the anime will premiere in 2027 and serve as the beginning of a larger story spanning anime, games, and other media.
