SOFTSWISS launches Warsaw summit on high-load systems

    Sofiah Nichole Salivio

    SOFIAH NICHOLE SALIVIONews Editor

SOFTSWISS has launched Tech Race Summit, an international conference in Warsaw focused on high-load digital systems.

The event is designed to bring together engineers, architects and infrastructure leaders from fintech, iGaming, healthtech and digital <a href="https://comicvibe.com/ai-and-the-rise-of-the-universal-entertainment-app/” title=”AI and the rise of the universal entertainment app”>entertainment.

The first edition is expected to attract more than 1,000 attendees and over 30 speakers from more than 20 technology companies. Named participants include AWS, Google, Oracle, Cloudflare, ClickHouse, Fastly, Flo Health, IBM, Plata, Gcore and SOFTSWISS.

The programme features three parallel stages and three content tracks: Vision, Solution and Experiment. Topics include artificial intelligence, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, high-load architecture and system performance.

High-load systems are built to handle heavy traffic, large data volumes and millions of concurrent users without service disruption. The summit is based on the idea that companies in very different markets often face the same challenge: maintaining speed and reliability at scale.

That overlap has become more visible as digital services in payments, streaming, betting and healthcare deal with rising user numbers and growing operational complexity. The conference aims to create a forum where technical leaders from those sectors can compare approaches that are usually discussed within industry boundaries.

SOFTSWISS, the event organiser, is best known as a technology supplier to the iGaming sector. The summit will feature technical discussions, case studies from large-scale systems and practical sessions for engineers and executives.

The cross-industry theme is central to the event’s positioning. Rather than focusing on a single vertical, the summit is presented as a meeting point for specialists who build and maintain systems under constant pressure from traffic spikes, latency requirements and reliability demands.

That approach reflects a broader shift in enterprise technology, where lessons in system design increasingly move between industries. A payments provider, for example, may have more in common with a video platform or a digital gaming operator in traffic management and uptime than with a smaller business in its own sector.

Ivan Montik, Founder of SOFTSWISS, outlined that argument in a statement accompanying the launch.

“A payment platform, a betting engine and a streaming service are all solving the same problem – staying fast and reliable under extreme load – yet that expertise rarely crosses industry lines. Tech Race Summit exists to change that, putting the engineers who actually run these systems in the same room to learn from each other directly. As AI reshapes what ‘scale’ means, that kind of cross-industry exchange is becoming essential to how the next generation of high-load systems gets built,” said Montik.

The choice of Warsaw places the event in one of Central Europe’s main technology hubs. Poland has drawn growing attention from international technology groups, outsourcing providers and software businesses, supported by a large engineering workforce and rising investment in digital infrastructure.

For SOFTSWISS, the location also fits its regional footprint. The company operates in Poland, Malta and Georgia, and says it works with more than 1,500 brands through its software portfolio.

Founded in 2009, SOFTSWISS employs more than 2,000 people. It says it introduced the first Bitcoin-optimised online casino solution in 2013, helping establish its profile in gambling technology.

The launch of a conference dedicated to high-load systems comes as demand for resilient digital infrastructure remains strong across industries. Financial services, media platforms, online gaming operators and health applications are all under pressure to support more users, faster response times and more complex data flows.

Artificial intelligence adds another layer to those demands by increasing compute needs and changing how companies design software and infrastructure. That helps explain why the summit’s agenda spans both strategic themes and technical implementation, from business transformation to AI-native engineering.

The event will also bring together founders, senior executives, architects, engineers and infrastructure specialists from different regions, according to the organisers. Sessions are expected to focus as much on real-world operating issues as on broader technology trends.

At launch, organisers stressed that expertise in operating systems at scale remains too fragmented across sectors. “As AI reshapes what ‘scale’ means, that kind of cross-industry exchange is becoming essential to how the next generation of high-load systems gets built,” said Montik.
