Cosplay, gaming and creativity are taking over the Reno-Sparks Convention Center as SNAFU Con returns for a weekend celebrating anime, pop culture and fandom.
Timothy Hof, convention chair, and Shelby McDade, cosplay head, sat down with ARC Reno Friday morning to preview this year’s event. The two shared advice for first-time attendees, explained how anyone can get started with cosplay and highlighted this year’s detective and heist-inspired theme. They also discussed what families should know before attending, including age guidelines, registration and how to make the most of the convention.
SNAFU Con runs October 9th through 11th at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center. For schedules, badges and additional information, visit here.
