New Zealand Mint’s premium collectible brand, Agoro, is making its first-ever appearance at Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC) with new gold and silver collectibles.
Agoro is teaming up with fellow New Zealanders Wētā Workshop at Booth No. 3613, where both companies will show off their high-end collectibles, including their The Lord of the Rings items. Agoro’s new The Lord of the Rings blind boxes will feature silver and gold foil versions of the Fellowship, including Aragorn, Gandalf, Gimli, Legolas, and Boromir. Each box has a pure silver foil, with a 9% chance of uncovering a fully engraved variant, and an ultra-rare 1% chance of finding a pure gold version inside.

Agoro is also bringing some of its Marvel collectibles to the show, including its X-Men ’97 blind boxes, which feature pure silver foil and rare variants. There is also an exclusive Magneto blind box, which will only be available at Agoro’s booth. Matthew Waterson, the voice of Magneto in X-Men ’97,will be at Agoro’s booth for a signing Friday, July 24. Ahead of Avengers: Doomsday,Agoro is also launching an SDCC-exclusive Doctor Doom collectible struck in pure silver.
