Japanese voice actorRyohei Kimuraisjoining the voice castof the upcomingInherit the WindsTV anime series. The anime is scheduled to begin broadcasting in Japan in January 2027.
Kimura will voice the Shinsengumi member Nagakura Shinpachi. He has most recently voiced Alice Asmodeus inWelcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun, having reprised the role in the currently airing fourth season.

Inherit the Windswas first announced at Aniplex Online Fest in September 2025. The anime is set during the third year of the Bunkyu era at atime of unrest in Japan. It follows an amnesiac called Tachikawa Jinsuke, whose reclamation of his memories has large consequences.
